We would like to warmly invite you to an alms-giving festival (Pha Pah), on Sunday 26 October, to mark the 10 year anniversary of Skiptvet Buddhist Monastery.

8.30 | Opening of a Buddha image exhibition in the barn |
9.00 | Gather outside the main house to prepare the rice offering |
10.00 | Paritta chanting (main house) |
10.30 | Alms round |
11.00 | Meal |
12.00 | Clean-up |
12.30 | Gather in the meditation hall (sala) for the main ceremony |
13:00 | Talks by Ajahn Kongrit, Ajahn Gavesako, by the Advisor and Head of Consular Affairs (representing the Ambassador) from the Royal Thai Embassy in Oslo, and by lay members of the trust supporting the monastery |
